For a change we really slept well last night. The heat was off and it was grand. Sam has fully recovered and Sandy and I are both fine. It rained some early this morning and after breakfast we went for a walk on deck and a wave sneaked up and absolutely drenched us, right through coats, slacks, etc. What a dumb trick. It's been very rough all day and got especially bad from about 2 p.m. until about 4:30. It seemed to calm down in time for dinner and it's getting a little rough again now (7:30 p.m.). Sandy napped during the roughest weather today - by the way, we passed a ship today - It was going west -
Put Sandy to bed about 8:00 p.m. - but he didn't got to sleep until at least 11 and then we set the watches up an hour again so it was 12. I couldn't sleep so I read until nearly 3 a.m., then lay in bed, scared to death until about 4. Next thing I knew, it was almost time to be in the dining room.
